I made this pillow to my brother in law as a cristmas present. It supposed to look like a bacon - would there be anything better than take a nap on bacon? but this picture tells who is using this pillow the most. |
Tässä muutama kuva käsityömessuilta - Few pictures from the arts and crafts fair
Tekemiäni ostoksia messuilta - Some of my shoppings
I went to visit my sister in Jyväskylä, central Finland. How much you can get inspiration and cheer up just staying away from home for few days! There was arts and crafts fair at Jyväskylä that we went to see and drool after wonderfull design and ideas! I will write later on specific posts about my favourite finnish designers that inspires me!
There was also a new cafeteria that is selling wonderful italian ice cream called Pappagallo. When we were little we used to visit in Turku next to Baltic sea very often. Our tradition was to go this Pappagallo cafeteria to eat this lovely ice cream. If you ever tasted finnish ice cream you would know why we see italian ice cream almost to die for! It is not peculiar that I have seen many dreams about this Pappagallo ice cream, but everytime the shop is just closing or the ice cream melts before I can eat it!
Bad thing for my wallet was that there was sales at Marimekko store. They sold items that are leaving the range with profitable prises - a matter of opinnion. I found a lovely big bag and smaller purse that will get its purpose as a pencil case.
